Required Documents
Before you begin, please make sure you have the following documents on hand to complete your membership application.
Veterans (current or ex-serving)
One form of ID, such as a passport, Medicare card, or driver’s licence plus one form of proof of service, such as a:
- Certificate or Record of Service
- Discharge Certificate
- Certificate of Enlistment
- Military Identification Card
- Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA), Veteran Specific Conditions Card (White Card) or DVA Veteran All Conditions within Australia Card (Gold Card)
- A listing on the DVA's Nominal Rolls
- Any other Department of Defence (or overseas equivalent) document that clearly states your name and indicates that you have served.
Non - veterans
One form of ID such as a passport, Medicare card, or driver’s licence.
Translation Requirements
If any of your documents are not in English, you must provide a NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) certified translation of the document.
Eligibility
You must currently reside in Australia to become an RSL Queensland member online. If you live outside of Australia, please contact the membership team on membership@rslqld.org.
